Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our logistics and courier services.

1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Orvanta Logistics ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our courier, logistics, and delivery services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
These Terms apply to all users of our Services, including but not limited to individuals, businesses, and organizations who ship packages, receive shipments, or otherwise interact with Orvanta Logistics.
2. Services Provided
Orvanta Logistics provides a comprehensive range of courier and logistics services including but not limited to:
- Same-Day Delivery: Expedited local delivery services for urgent shipments.
- Freight Forwarding: LTL (Less Than Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload) shipping across the continental United States.
- International Shipping: Air, ocean, and ground freight services to destinations worldwide.
- Warehousing & Storage: Secure storage facilities with inventory management capabilities.
- Packaging Services: Professional packaging and crating for fragile or oversized items.
- Supply Chain Management: End-to-end logistics optimization and consulting.
All Services are subject to availability and may vary by location. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time without prior notice.
3. Shipping & Delivery
3.1 Delivery Estimates
Delivery times provided are estimates only and not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, traffic, carrier delays, customs clearance, and other unforeseen circumstances.
3.2 Tracking
All shipments are assigned a unique tracking number. Customers are responsible for monitoring their shipments and providing accurate delivery information. Orvanta Logistics is not liable for delays or misdeliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
3.3 Delivery Attempts
Our drivers will make reasonable attempts to deliver packages. If delivery is unsuccessful after multiple attempts, the package may be held at our facility for pickup or returned to the sender. Additional fees may apply for redelivery attempts.
3.4 Signature Requirements
Certain shipments may require a signature upon delivery. If no authorized recipient is available, the package will not be released. Customers may waive signature requirements at their own risk.
4. Restricted & Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from shipment through Orvanta Logistics unless prior written approval has been obtained:
- Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) without proper documentation and packaging
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
- Firearms, ammunition, or explosive materials
- Perishable goods without temperature-controlled arrangements
- Live animals (except with special arrangements)
- Counterfeit goods or stolen property
- Currency, precious metals, or negotiable instruments (except via insured services)
- Human remains or body parts
- Any items prohibited by local, state, or federal law
Customers who ship prohibited items assume all liability and may be subject to legal action. Orvanta Logistics reserves the right to inspect any shipment and refuse service at our discretion.
5. Liability & Insurance
5.1 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orvanta Logistics' liability for any loss, damage, or delay of a shipment is limited to the actual value of the shipment, not exceeding $100 per shipment unless additional insurance has been purchased. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business interruption
- Damage resulting from improper packaging by the customer
- Losses due to force majeure events (natural disasters, acts of terrorism, etc.)
- Customs delays or seizures
5.2 Insurance Options
Customers may purchase additional cargo insurance for shipments requiring coverage above the standard limit. Insurance premiums are based on declared value and shipment type. Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 14 days of delivery.
6. Payment Terms
All fees for Services are due at the time of shipment unless a credit account has been established. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and business checks. Payment terms for established accounts are net 15 days from the date of invoice.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Additional charges may apply for residential delivery, liftgate service, or inside delivery
- Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law
- All fees are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted before the shipment has been picked up. Once a shipment is in transit, cancellations are not guaranteed and fees may still apply. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and may be subject to a processing fee. No refunds will be issued for:
- Shipments that have already been delivered
- Delays caused by factors outside our control
- Incorrect addresses or recipient unavailability
- Seized or refused shipments
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Orvanta Logistics is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption for online transactions. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. User Responsibilities
As a user of Orvanta Logistics Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your shipments
- Properly package items to withstand normal transit conditions
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your shipments
- Pay all applicable fees and charges in a timely manner
- Not use our Services for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
- Not interfere with or disrupt our operations or systems
- Indemnify and hold Orvanta Logistics harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms
10. Termination
Orvanta Logistics reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Non-payment of fees
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Actions that may harm our reputation or operations
Upon termination, all outstanding fees become immediately due and payable. Sections regarding liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Cobb County, Georgia. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
12. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
